Angie Coulson (b. Columbus, OH), is a Washington, D.C. based visual artist who works in the mediums of painting and drawing.

She graduated from The Ohio State University, with a dual major in Art and World Economy and Business.

Angie spent nearly the first eight years of her career working in different roles in accounting and fundraising, in business and non-profit settings.

Recently, Angie has begun to establish her career as an artist.

Early on, Angie's abstract artwork was influenced by several things, including the abstract expressionism and minimalism art movements, her college coursework in economics, and her experience working in accounting. The combination of these influences led to the creation of her current abstract aesthetic and process.

This aesthetic and process is now being replicated within a series of paintings and drawings. Each piece is similar, but unique, as the aesthetic and process change and develop over time.  Additionally, each piece is impacted
by what is going on in her life at the time and within her current time and place in the world.
